CEO / President
Tony is President and CEO of Pimentel Construction. He has over forty years of experience in the construction business, and because of his knowledge and relationships with others in the industry, he is known by our customer base as a no nonsense guy who can always get the job completed. Prior to owning Pimentel Construction, Tony helped run and grow Sasso Construction Company where he was Vice President of Operations. Tony is totally committed to the company, his employees, and the customers he works for. He was educated at Worcester Polytechnic Institute and the New Jersey Institute of Technology. He is a former Chapter President for the Association of Facility Engineering and sat on the board for ABC. He is the current chairman of the Board at Austin Preparatory School in Reading, MA.
VP of Operations
Robert has over thirty years of experience in the construction field. Starting his career as a designer, Robert worked for Tutela Engineering Associates as a senior project manager in charge of design and specification of commercial and industrial building projects. In 1997, he joined Sasso Construction as a project manager and subsequently Vice President of Construction. Robert’s attention to detail and complete knowledge of proper construction methods is something that our customers greatly appreciate, as this transfers to their projects. Roberts holds a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering from Wentworth institute of Technology.
VP of Construction
Matt has over 15 years experience in the construction field; Matt might say longer if you count the years he was present at his father, Tony’s, projects. Because of this, Matt’s knowledge in the construction field is broad and diverse. He schedules and coordinates the daily activities for the field staff, as well as managing construction projects. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Science and Administrative Management from Clemson University. Matt is an avid runner, winning an ACC Championship at Clemson, and formerly held the position of head Coach of Track at Merrimack College.
Project Manager/ Construction Supervisor
Jerry has over 35 years of experience in construction and facility operations. Before joining the team at Pimentel, Jerry worked at Sasso Construction, and prior to that, he oversaw the daily facility operations at Verizon’s Waltham location, formerly GTE Laboratories, a 472,000 sf research and development center. Jerry holds several mechanical and construction licenses, and completed the Facility Management Program at Northeastern University
Senior Financial Manager
Lisa is the newest addition to Pimentel. She comes to us after being Controller of a multi-state mortgage banker/broker for the last 17 years. Lisa received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting at Merrimack College and has been a Massachusetts Licensed CPA since 2000. She was also the former Treasurer for Windham Presbyterian Church.
Marcie came to Pimentel Construction after 9 years of front office operations with Sasso Construction. She continues the day to day management of tasks at the front end of our office, as well as all communications with our subcontractors throughout the bid process. Marcie also is an avid animal lover, and cares for cats and dogs in her time outside the office.
